Makonnen Sankofa

Makonnen Sankofa is a literary promoter, author, media producer, radio presenter, podcaster, and public speaker.

He is the founder and host of The International Book Show, a global literary platform established in 2020 that has featured more than 500 authors through radio broadcasts, podcasts, video shows, and webinars.

Every Sunday from 8:00pm to 10:00pm on LWR Radio–Talk, Makonnen interviews authors from around the world who discuss the topics, themes, and ideas explored in their books.

Makonnen is also known for his books, including The Rise of Rastafari, Life in Gambia, Experiences of Living Across Africa, and How to Market and Sell Your Book.

His contributions to the literary industry through his writing, broadcasting, and support for authors have earned him the Africa Laureate Award, the LIT – Literary Inspirational Trailblazer Award, and the Nigeria Magazine Social Impact Award.
