Stanley Pemberton and Congress Productions is proud to present his recordings with with which began in 1971 and ending in 1986 These recordings except for Sho be do be do I Love was and I love you true which was released on A&M Records under a Production deal with my then Workhouse Productions and the Studio having a change of name to THE WORKHOUSE.. upon signing the deal Workhouse Productions brought Alton to the UK to promote the released records and to begin recording new product using the rhythm section of Gonzalez and later Congress . This new album Stanley Pemberton and Congress Productions are fortunate to have had the pleasure of working with Alton not only as an artist but a friend. We are please to showcase ALTON ELLIS in the way we all regarded him as JAMAICA MOST SOULFUL VOCALIST.
