A Champion for the underground dance music scene. It was at the age of 14 when Paul Jackson Degallerie saved up all his pocket money to purchase his first set of turntables. and has been djing ever since. “Music is my life it has keep me out of trouble during my adolescence years”.
Paul Degallerie is a dj, producer, song writer, actor and screenwriter..Born and raised in the East End of London, Canning Town, Paul’s musical influence
comes from artist like James Brown, the godfather of soul, Sly and the Family Stone, Isley Brothers, Miles Davis, Roy Ayers, Earth, Wind & Fire, Prince, Stevie Wonder, and many more other eclectic and obscure artists of their time. Paul’s biggest influence came from his parents. they were very knowledgeable about music and educated him about their generation of artists. . Paul’s father (Clinton George Jackson) ran a sound system during the 60 into the late 80’s. For Paul he was destined to follow suit, from playing at parties for family, friends, school discos at 14. To the current day, with opportunities to take it to an international level, breaking and exposing underground artists from music genres including Broken Beat, Nu-jazz, Hip-hop, Roots reggae, Lovers Rock Ska, Soul, Boogie and Electro, music. Touring with artists such as Vula Mulinga (Bassment Jaxx), opera singing sensation Andrea Bocelli, Heather Headley, Erik Rico, Romina Johnson (who in 1998 had a hit song written by music producers Artful Dodger “Moving Too Fast), Jean-Paul ‘Bluey’ Munick from the legendary band Incognito, Reel Deal Band and founder Dean Mark bass player (music director for Roy Ayers), Alexander O’Neil, Jon B and many more.
